BCI has successfully completed numerous site grading and utility plans for commercial developments including Strip Malls, Restaurants, Car Dealerships, Parking Lots, Banks, Warehouses, Self Storage Facilities, and Mixed-use Developments with Retail on the first floor and residences in the upper stories.

In addition to reviews by the local agencies, Cook County High way and Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), most of these projects have required a permit from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD Permit).

Space is always critical in the commercial developments, so BCI has developed a significant amount of experience placing the required storm water detention under the pavement. We have designed systems using StormTrap, ADS heavy-duty Plastic Pipe, and oversized Concrete Pipes. We have designed the stormwater detention under the ramp to the lower level of the parking garage on several projects.
