GREEN ALLEY DESIGN, CHICAGO
Bono Consulting prepared engineering design drawings for the alley reconstruction adjacent to 1935 South Wabash, Chicago. The alley was designed as a Green Alley with no connection to the City’s storm sewers. The alley catch basins have open bottoms that sit on a layer of 3” rock. The alley runoff infiltrates back into the ground, and only the overflow goes to the street.
Approvals were required from CDOT and CDWM.
