This Northfield house is located in the floodplain, so the new construction could not have a basement, and we ensured that the lowest entry into the home was 2′ above the base flood elevation. The outdoor equipment is also two feet above the base flood elevation. Sevee & Maher Engineers (SME) prepared the new house’s site engineering plans, including the compensatory storage, stormwater detention, elevation certificate, and final as-built topo survey to certify the compensatory storage.
