This Northfield house is located in the floodplain, so the new construction could not have a basement, and we ensured that the lowest entry into the home was 2′ above the base flood elevation. The outdoor equipment is also two feet above the base flood elevation. Bono Consulting prepared the new house’s site engineering plans, including the compensatory storage, stormwater detention, elevation certificate, and final as-built topo survey to certify the compensatory storage.
